So get this, a small family owned grocery store on the verge of shutting down had the most fabulous thing happen to it.
A group of artists living in New York found out and decided to buy everything in the store.
The entire store.
Everything.
They then went on to sell the items online in ridiculous ways- $75 for an orange lighter, inside a plastic cube. All in an attempt to "question our perceptions of value and celebrate the Art of Convenience”. But the main point of this is...how people are still capable of doing awesome and incredible things for other human beings. And that’s pretty damn lovely.
